Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Lush leaves and plants whose flowers bloom in sun-dappled, autumnal shade. They evoke the forever struggle to survive, to thrive. But at what price this opportunity to thrive beautifully. Eleanor Roosevelt was the United States’ first lady as her husband led this country through the second World War. Perhaps, to prevent or, at least forestall the loss of so many lives, her words merit consideration: Roosevelt asked that all consider, “As long as there must be war, I ask and I must answer: Was I worth dying for?

Sandra Gould Ford

Sandra Gould Ford is an author and artist, educator and former steelworker. In elementary school, Sandra composed poems, crafted plays and created a graphic novel. She also drew fanciful clothes, attended the Saturday morning art classes at the Carnegie Museum of Art and took her first photographs with a Brownie Bullet camera. Sandra Gould Ford’s arts career was influenced by Joseph Campbell’s believe that the world needs new myths and by Dr. Frederick Herzberg who said, “The humanities – far from being mere entertainment or glitter – offer THE pragmatic data for reflection.” This graduate from the University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences now enjoys sharing her experiences and creations to...
