Artist Statement

Sandra Ford Sandra Gould Ford is an author, photographer, textile artist and former steelworker. This University of Pittsburgh graduate created an illustrated, international quarterly, produced writer conferences and developed a writing program for the incarcerated. She has taught nationwide. Her art has been exhibited at the Smithsonian, New York's American Craft Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and internationally. Her goals are to encourage, refresh, enrich creative thinking and inspire, to lift hearts and spirits, awareness and humanity via the literary and visual arts.
